DMX Connector Plates

DMX512 is a protocol used to control dimming equipment, color chargers, automated lighting and other related devices. Permanent DMX512 control wiring installed in an entertainment venue can make such devices easier to install and use.

DMX512 Control Receptacle Plates provide a logical termination point for DMX512 control wiring that is installed in conduit. Electrical codes do not normally require conduit for low voltage control wiring. Flexible cables are typically used to interconnect DMX devices in addition to or in the place of permanent wiring, when equipment is regularly reconfigured.
