Steel Designer Patterns
Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the
worlds leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes
over 700 standard steel gobo designs, each of which is illustrated in
the Designer Pattern Catalog, available by mail or your local dealer,
or in our on-line
catalog. To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using
a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable,
high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate
of ellipsoidal spotlights.
Rosco Designer Patterns
are round to allow for rotation in the gate when aligning the projected
image. The standard "B" size is suitable for most fixtures with
a 6" lens when used with a Rosco Pattern Holder or the holders of
other manufacturers. Trimming of patterns, where necessary, can be easily
accomplished with a pair of scissors. In addition, standard sizes for
popular moving lights are also available. Consult
the Compatibility Chart for specific details on sizes and dimensions.
Steel Designer Motion Gobos New
40 new stainless steel gobo designs, named Motion Gobos, have been specially created to provide spectacular visual effects when used in the Rosco Double Gobo Rotator.
Specify "B" size for use in the Rotator, although these gobos are also available in sizes to fit various moving and stationary lights. This special collection is priced at the same cost as all other Rosco stainless steel gobos.
The Motion Gobos collection is divided into two categories: Organic and Symmetric. You may want to start your design by choosing one from each category for each of the two Double Gobo Rotator slots. But many designers will prefer effects created from two gobos in the same category. |
