1. The Shrink Mirror looked great last night but not this morning, what happened? Can I re-shrink it?

There are a number of possible causes for your mirror getting loose; weather and frame warp are frequent problems. Changes in humidity may make the material sag. Re-heat the surface as before and the mirror will tighten up again. Always make sure your frame is at least 2 x 2 if it is wood. If your frame is steel make sure you use a polyurethane double stick tape, as other varieties will allow the mirror to slip while shrinking.

2. How strong a heat source do I need?

A temperature in excess of 400 degrees F is needed to shrink the mirror. Be sure you heat the silver side.

3. Do I need to flameproof glamé?

No. Rosco Glamé is made with inherently flameproof vinyl.
