Now compatible with Intel Mac
Now you can cue such video playback programs as PowerPoint™, Keynote™ Quicktime™ or Windows Media
Player and such sound playback programs as ProTools™, iTunes™, Garageband™ and SFX™ from
your light board.
In fact, Keystroke, Rosco's new hardware/software solution allows your lighting control board to control virtually
any software program running on an external computer. These include cues that require Microsoft Word™ or a
video player or proprietary software controlling other features such as water effects, fountain choreography or
scenery motion control
Keystroke™, available for both PC or Mac, is easy to install, easy to use and insures your sound, video and
lighting cues are in sync. It may end forever your need to search for extra crew members or volunteers to push
buttons on computers.
The Keystroke system configuration is shown in this simple diagram. Rosco
supplies the Keystroke hardware and the USB cable which connects to your computer.
The Keystroke hardware electronically listens to the DMX channel (1 - 512) you assign in the Keystroke software.
You will also define the commands the slave PC executes when Keystroke receives a predefined value at its DMX
channel address. For example, if you were controlling a PowerPoint slide show with Keystroke, you could assign
the value of 100% (255) to send the slave PC a space bar command to advance to the next slide.
