The Tiffany stained glass windows in the Church of St. Francis Xavier date back over a century. But they no longer get the daylight that illuminated them because a high-rise building, built next door to the church, now blocks the daylight.
Compounding the problem was the narrow space available for the installation of a light source behind the 10-foot high window. And the imperative need for a soft, even light that could simulate daylight.
The solution was Rosco's LitePad, a new LED source only 1/3" thick. LitePads can be custom-made to virtually any height and width and produce a uniquely soft, diffuse light. The LitePad output was ideally suited to highlight the details of the stained
glass window art.
