ClearColour
Rosco ClearColour clear drying, invisible fluorescent paint is revolutionary special
effects paint. When viewed under incandescent light they are completely clear; yet,
under the flood of ultraviolet light these UV activated colors come to life.
ClearColour's flexible; vinyl acrylic binder allows these distinctive paints to be
used on virtually any scenic surface. ClearColour may be applied over all Rosco
paints. Available in 4 colors plus Invisible Black and White.

DILUTION:
May be used straight out of the can or thinned up to 1:1 with water (remember, thinning will
dilute fluorescent capacity somewhat). Test to assure clarity on desired substrate.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of dirt and grease. Prime substrate to prevent
ClearColour from absorbing into the substrate. Light colored surfaces yield the best results.
APPLICATION:
Stir contents thoroughly. Apply using a spray gun for best results. Several thin coats provide
the most even coverage. A brush may be used but do not over brush as clouding may occur.
DRYING TIME:
Average drying time (at 75 degrees F.) is about 30 minutes to the touch. May be recoated in 1-2
hours. ClearColour appears milky when wet but will clear as it dries. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
ACCELERATE DRYING TIME BY THE USE OF HEAT OR FORCED AIR AS CLOUDING WILL OCCUR.
COVERAGE:
Coverage will vary based on substrate painted and method of application. Theoretical coverage is
50 sq. ft. per quart.
