Job Description
Territory Manager For Southeast United States

Rosco Laboratories, a world class leader in the entertainment industry, is looking for a Territory Manager for the Southeastern United States.

The job requires extensive contact with the people who specify Rosco products. These people include technical professionals, such as lighting and set designers in theatre and television; filmmakers so there is extensive contact with cinematographers, grips and gaffers; television producers, lighting directors on set and off; students at all levels of education who are interested in careers in the afore mentioned fields. Territory managers at Rosco are also responsible for the dealers who market our products. An important element in the job is educating dealers about new products and working with them to help their customers.

The successful candidate will be based in Orlando, FL and manage Rosco activities in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee. Nearly two weeks out of every month will be spent traveling overnight. Our expectation is that 80% of the Rosco Territory Manager's time is out of the home office.

Extensive training including two months at Rosco's headquarters in Stamford CT will include product information, organization skills, sales training and exposure to over 100 years of market knowledge and support.

A successful candidate must bring a desire to succeed, self motivation, discipline, core traits of purpose (why you want to be a sales person), enthusiasm and some level of theatre, film, and/or television lighting background.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact and demonstrations (both individually and in groups.) to designers and tech people in theatre, film, TV and architecture.
  • Dealer contact, management, and coaching
  • Business and Territory planning
  • Interface with Rosco personnel in field matters
  • Consistent administrative habits

Qualifications:

  • Theatrical / Film / Entertainment production experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location
Training based at Rosco Laboratories headquarters in Stamford, CT. Upon successful completion of training, Orlando FL.

Technical Support Specialist

Rosco Laboratories, a leader in the entertainment industry, is looking for a Technical Support Specialist. If you enjoy a fast-paced work environment with loads of customer contact this position is right for you. You should have an excellent telephone manner and good problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to technical questions via phone or e-mail in timely manner
  • Process dealer purchase orders
  • Direct dealer support for all Rosco products
  • Maintain and update technical information
  • Provide pricing information and quotations as needed
  • Interface with Sales force-provide leads from Tech Support calls

Qualifications:

  • Theatrical or film production experience a must
  • Previous Technical Support or Customer Service experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Strong computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
