The IMAGEPRO™ system is comprised of a precisely tooled, drop-in holder; a series of custom protective filters; and a plastic slide image created using conventional computer printing technology.

THE SYSTEM
Based on Rosco’s unique Universal Iris Slot holder, the IMAGEPRO™ fits into most modern luminaires including the Altman Shakespeare, ETC Source Four, Selecon Pacific and Strand SL. A cooling fan combined with layered, reflective filters create a protected environment for the iPro Slide to survive the extreme heat at the gate of today’s efficient luminaires. Since the temperature at the gate is reduced when the lamp is dimmed, plug your IMAGEPRO into the same dimmer as the light fixture. Then as the lamp dims, the fan speed is reduced proportionally. IPro Slides can be made of virtually any image you can create on a computer. Printed on a high temperature plastic base using conventional printing technologies, the iPro slide can project high quality images in full color and photographic detail previously available only through advanced projection systems like PANI or from expensive glass gobos.

PERFORMANCE
Tested on fixtures of 600 watts or less at 100%, a typical iPro slide lasts for 15-50 hours continuously with no degradation of the image. At 50% on dimmer, the life span is virtually infinite. A theatrical application typically uses the slide for less than one hour per performance, allowing a single slide to last for up to 30 performances or more! Poor bench focus of the luminaire will reduce this rating. (The IMAGEPRO™ should not be used on a Source Four 750. Damage to the luminaire’s reflector may result.)
